The Dune Control app turns your mobile phone or tablet into an advanced remote control for your Dune HD media players and set-top-boxes.

Main features:

Remote:
- Fully replaces the standard IR remote control.
- Uses Wi-Fi to connect to the local network.
- Automatically searches for Dune HD devices in the local network.
- Allows to control multiple Dune HD devices and easily switch between them.

Navigator (*):
- Browse and choose media content via Dune UI shown directly on your mobile device.
- Access local and network sources, Favorites, Recent, My Collection, Movies, Dune HD PHP plugins, etc.
- The menu shown on the mobile device mirrors the menu shown on the TV screen.
- Enter text into text fields in Dune UI using native keyboard on your mobile device.
- Photo viewer mode: view photos from the Dune HD device on the mobile device, control photo slide show.

Now Playing (*):
- See the information about the currently played media content, including (when available) movie poster, movie title, music cover, music album/artist/track information.
- Control the playback (play/pause, stop, previous/next, playback position, volume).

(*) Navigator and Now Playing functions are supported only on the latest generation of Dune HD devices (starting with Dune HD Neo 4K) with the latest firmware (version 190330_0254_r13 or newer).

Fixed my connection problems. New phone didn't work with the app. The player found the wifi, but the app wouldn't connect. Found the previous app version on a third party site and it works fine. To add for other users, this app has never worked for me on the 5ghz hotspot setting. It only works on the 2.4 GHz for me.

Good App but one most anoying issue, folder listing is limited to 50, example, in a music folder you can only see upto to 50 folders. other than that all is great. My device is Dune HDmax 8k and it is awsome, best device out there.

Me, Myself and I

It replaced my traditional remote. I use it on iPad, lying on the table before me to control Pro Vision. The only thing I do manually is turn Power On manually. Indeed, "Now Playing" does not work for all (older?) formats, in my case DVD ISO...

It simply doesn't work. I have 2 dune players on my network, I know their ip addresses, I can control them with my crestron system - but this app simply can't see them. Useless.

Shortly after having submitted initial 1-star review due to compatibility issues with my phone, I've received an APK package which fixed my issue and the app is working as it used to do in the past.
