I have the 32GB per month plan. G cloud used to reliably back up my data and I like its UI but now can't start the program due to "missing email" or similar issue. Reinstalling is a waste of time Been using for years and have had this issue for months.....no resolution from whoever owns this app now as they apparently are in no hurry to do anything about it. Absolutely useless now.

NEW UPDATE 10/11: Somehow, y'all managed to break it more than it already was. I was finally able to manually force a backup, although it took hours for it to run. Now, back to nothing. Same as everyone else, greyed out data selection and selecting backup closes the app. No, I will not contact support because I've done everything you've said a hundred times. Never would expect this from a major company like Google in 2024. Time to find a new cloud service and hope y'all haven't lost my data.

Not fit for its purpose! Nothing gets backed up! After the latest app update, the backup feature doesn't work at all, the button for back up is grayed out! What's more, there are several spelling mistake on the app pages, as well as emails from the Gcloud support. With only 6 registered people in the Gcloud company, it is clearly difficult for them to keep the app running, hence endless bugs. It claims to be the "best IA cloud back up" in what category?! Best of the worst?

Seemingly problems with the app started around July 17th, is the last day showing on web console towards any successful backup; files finally managed to be retrieved, but have to force manually/web console data still doesn't update; noticed photos and videos are not listed under restore as options; ghost backups; after numerous contact with support, with no remedy, decided to disable auto-renewal, and remove payment info; had been with GCloud for quite a few years; am done...ta

Even with the new update on August 14th... this app keeps crashing & hasn't backed up any data since July 7th, 2024. It seems like people are experiencing the same issue. I have been a client since 2012. Tech support needs to fix all these issues. I had no issues prior to July 14th, 2024. It is very frustrating, to say the least.

Dont get this apk. Initially was great had it x10 yrs. Unlimited package that was offered back then. This yr they stopped backing my things, emailed them, they said my account was used commercially (4gb total backed up in 10 yrs) that i have to purchase something more expensive to keep it active. I have nothing commercial. My kids growing up pictures/videos/my music. Etc.. yes here/there a screenshot i wanted saved.. i have no access to anything that was supposed to be encrypted

Update October 15, 2024. Still a non working app. It simply sits with the G logo on the screen and does nothing. This app was good until this past update. I've used them for at least 10 years and now I can't get the app to open and the website tells me it isn't secure, so no go there too. I've have my unlimited plan with no way to get into it anymore or back up new data.

UPDATE: DELETED ACCOUNT- 4 MONTHS AND NO RESOLUTION TO BACK UP ISSUE. ALSO DUE TO ERROR HALF OF MY PHOTOS COULD NOT BE RESTORED. App crash and no backup. Having issues since 7/15 and sent countless logs and tickets with no resolution. When I hit back up it closes the app. I get a message from my phone there is a bug with the app and wait for an update from the developers. I have paid a subscription since hoping it would be resolved but nothing.
