First I couldn't set the crop box for the image to the edge of the screen, so I had to add a white border and try again. Then it scanned the image and said: "No content found in image". --- Tried a smaller section of the original image, no success there either. So my experience has been worse than for others. Fortunately they say that they save their logs to improve the APP, so maybe next update. :(

It's okay. It confused k and x a few times, didn't know "n choose k" and I needed to do a fair amount of hand editting in TexMaker to incorporate it into what I was doing. It pulls in packages I didn't want to use. (mhchem and stmaryrd) Not impressed that I ran out of monthly free snips (10) before I tested whether it was worth it. As a broke grad student, I'd buy with a one-time $10 - $20, but not worth any subscription, esp $60/year. If it wasn't for the pricing, I'd rate it higher.

It is able to snip small areas very well. But entire page almost never. Also along with crop facility it would help to have zoom so that we can increase area of coverage instead of having to take the pic again. Certainly better than Nebo but as features are less (only camera) it is not useful enough for handwriting devices.

God bless you! This is exactly what I have been searching for in the past 10 years! This is a must have for all engineering students and teachers. Anyone how can read an equation must have this. I have used it to convert all the formulas from word to latex. It helped me a lot. you have save me a ton of time. If the program could read a word document and convert it to latex plus changing all equations from photo to latex typed format. I am the person who will pay for it! Keep up the good work!

Things that not work : text that are underlined(just takes the text itself), equations inside a box will be scanned like just equations. Even though this app is for math. eqns. text detection is better than some of the text scanners i have tried. Flipping phone causes flipping animation which makes app seem lagy it would be so much better to have a minimal animation for flipping. Also after taking a photo sometimes i have to try several times to resize the detection area.
