This is my first time using and sticking with a different launcher than what my Pixel originally came with. The stock launcher is nice but this Microsoft launcher just takes the Android experience to a whole new level. It flows smoothly, allows for way more customization, and the options available to users are plentiful. I'm always skeptical using third party anything but this is Microsoft. This isn't some third party developer that you have no idea who it is. I recommend trying it out!

Galaxy s23 ultra -- I'm taking a star off. Lately, I've been having an issue that prevents the launcher from moving off of your home screen, and won't let you swipe up to open your app drawer. Not even the quick drawer on the bottom. The fix is easy. It'll still let you swipe down to bring down your notification windows so I can get into settings. From there, force closing and opening MS launcher fixes everything. But I've gone from once a week to 2 or 3 times a day.

The Microsoft Launcher is excellent. I initially tried the launcher years ago and ended up being quite disappointed with it, even though I really wanted to like it. I decided to give it a try again since it had been a while and I am very happy to give this launcher 5 stars now. The lagginess and non-responsiveness of previous versions is gone and the multitude of launcher settings/options is excellent.

No landscape mode for auto rotate display? Without a landacape mode for tablets its rather useless. If there is a landscape mode, great job hiding it. Tablet setting is auto-rotate, MS Launcher does not also rotate. Launching an app gets to landscape but upon returning to the launcher, back to portrait mode only. Update: The launcher is unstable on the Motorola Razer+. The delays in switching from app to app is a hit and miss, sometimes it works but more often nothing, display freezing is common

Very good launcher alternative especially if you use Microsoft products. (Feature suggestion: It would be better if you could access the app drawer from the right side of the screen when you have vertical page scrolling turned on, in stead of having to scroll all the way to the bottom to get to the app drawer.)

Simply the best. The Microsoft Launcher is an Operating System wrapper that makes everything about using your phone easier, more intuitive, and effective, over the base Android software. Settings menus and customization is far more thoughtful and managed with this launcher. More apps can be placed within a few taps, and widgets are are great. Daily useful information is immediately accessible with a swipe. Well done, I miss your Surface Duo phones, Microsoft.

Hands down, this is a better Android Launcher than ONE UI. It has far more customization features, and overall it is optimized to improve the performance of your device vs One UI & NOVA (I've used both extensively). My favorite feature is the fact that you can add a second row to your app doc at the bottom of your home screen. The gestures overall are more fluid and intuitive as well.

2024 update: using MS Launcher on Moto Razr+ and still very, very much prefer it to any other launcher I've tried. Give it a shot! 2020 review: Been using MS launcher for many years! Soooo much more intuitive UI than any standard Android interface. I use a higher end Moto phone, which is nice, but this is way better. On an entry / mid level device I would think this an absolute necessity. On a device like a high end Samsung tablet, it feels like luxury.
