Castle, the largest community of survivors, has fallen.Once a beacon of hope in the post-apocalypse, it now shares the same fate as the rest. Amidst the chaos, a small group of survivors managed to escape into the barren wilderness.
You are the Commander of these survivors. While escaping the zombie horde that utterly destroyed your last sanctuary, you come across a strange building jutting out from the ground. Low on supplies and left with little options, you decide to take refuge in this building. So begins your campaign of survival in this zombie-infested world.

I really like this game.... however, the constant attacks by higher level players, even though the game provides lots of BOTS, has ruined it for me. I've been playing for a couple of years, and it's gotten so bad that it's no longer fun at all. I've given last fortress a lot of money, it was a bad investment.

CAVEAT EMPTOR: Several items (beast blueprints, hero upgrades, etc.) make the initial purchase price reasonable but then dramatically increase the price on subsequent purchases of the same item so you are obligated to buy or deal with having tossed money away on an item you can't afford to complete. Glitchy, it eats tons of gigabytes on your phone and each new update only makes it worse (and they have frequent updates). Lots of players become disillusioned and quit in the first few seasons.

This used to be fun game until the money players took over. Power Players have taken over and made the game zero fun. Need better ability to regulate them or their ability to dominate weaker players. It would be nice to be able to change servers or even seasons without repercussions. I wish there was a way to start over without losing purchases. Just reset them to zero. Cost is way out of hand to do anything.

I waited a while after downloading this game and playing it to give it a fair shot - but now I have to say that I agree with the other reviewers who said it's kind of impossible to play when your fortress is getting attacked all the time. When starting the game, all you have to do is build, which is cool. But the higher you level up, the more "exposure" you have in the world. I wish there was a way to play by just building out your fortress, offline, so you could just enjoy the it w/o other ppl

I love that you can build relationships and make friends. What I don't love is that pay to play players will annihilate you every day making the game pretty unenjoyable. It would be nice to have the option to move in seasons versus being forced. Also would be nice to have level caps of who you can attack. Being hit by a level 28 when you are 20 is game over every single time. So if you aren't pay to play I'd recommend another game cause you won't get ahead no matter what

I changed my rating from 5 to 2. The reason is this game is strictly designed for Pay to Play people. They have added lots of cool features in this game I.E. Base transmogs all of which require you to pay money to get the permanent version. They give you 7day versions pretty easy but to get the permanent version there isn't enough time on their events to aquire the permanent version without paying money. Do yourself a favor find a better game that isn't as bad as this money grab

I pushed it from 2 stars now 1. Constantly being attacked.I've been playing for quite awhile. It gets old when you just want to play and kill zombies and you're not interested in attacking other fortresses. Sad when you can't keep up your resources to upgrade heros or facilities or do research when you are attacked 2 and 3 times a day. Seriously thinking about just uninstalling. There are no permanent safe zones or alliances that want to kill zombies and don't want to war with other fortresses.

I purchased the premium monthly pass two month in a row and never recieved the pass in game. When I reported this to the customer support in app. They sent me wasteland coins in lieu of 2 months worth of premium pass. Which would be nearly 15k gold along with recruitment coins and other daily collection bonuses. All which they refuse to fix for me. I paid over $40 only to get a measly amount of wasteland coins instead of the gold and other items I would have gotten. Poor customer support.
