The "new" app is worse. The notifications are messed up. I keep getting the same alert over and over. Also, often, when I click on an alert, it doesn't take me to the story; it just goes to the main screen. Finally, I tried to submit a question about the app, but the email was returned as undeliverable.

Reply to WFMZ: I'm sorry but I'm not one who likes customizing. It's just another way to wind up in a bubble. I like a wide variety of news. Update: opens after reinstalled with new Update. I don't like the 11/6/2024 Update. It's divided into too many different sections. It used to be all in one page now It requires too many taps to see things. App will not open. Worked before but for some reason it just doesn't open at all now.

Absolutely no reason to seperate AREAS (there needs to be a physical MAP for a visual reference = showing ZONES and coverage) ___ ??? Why is Bethlehem split (it's the same city regardless = useless data @ same content @ 2x clicking = most people don't know the physical boundaries) ____ ??? what is the actual zone-maps for Lehigh/berks/bucks (what is considered north/south/east/west... = All other "counties are a WHOLE" unsplit)____*only positive* you can clear history (vs clearing cache daily)

I used to like this app. Since it has been "updated" I can't get it to load at all. I have deleted it and reinstalled atleast 6 times and it's still the same. It has been 2 months and still no fix for it. What gives?

The old version was great. This new version is garbage. They used to have all the berks county news in 1 section, now it is split into 5 sections for some reason. Also when you stop to try to read an article, it automatically scrolls back to the top if you stop scrolling. Really annoying.

It seems like the app is getting increasingly less user friendly, and the notifications, which is one of the reasons why I have the app, don't work. I live in Reading, and no matter what combination of notification settings I try, I keep getting push notifications for Lehigh Valley, which I don't care about at all, but I've never gotten anything about Berks. Very annoying.
The Blitz
Once again football season starts and once again I have to uninstall for the season. I don't need a notification to know who won in Eagles games instantly. Some watch on delays and some need to watch later do to life. If you would just let us turn off sports notifications we could just stay away from the app until we're ready. The instant push notification is obnoxious without an opt out. Edit: 2024 and this app still needs to trying "scooping" everyone by giving out the Eagles score instantly.

New update constantly crashes. Reinstalled several times. Wont open. I have to go to website to get the news.
