OK got it to work. Must have been an issue with their servers. I was able to login but no devices was listed. Then I could not log in for a couple of hours. Tried my backup phone and I could not create a new account. Then a couple of hours later every started to work and my device was listed. I had to rebind the device again. It works. I shared the device with my wife's phone and that worked. Tested it and all works. Give you 4 stars because of the mayhem.

First thing first, at the start upon receiving the device works perfectly.. Then I saw a column that can change to a MAN'S VOICE, IT STARTED TO CRACKLING.. After awhile I didn't received any notification on my phone.. I'm working night shift, that is the reason why I purchased a doorcam.. I think about a month was fine then after that I didn't get any notification even after following the steps!!

I have version wifi which is the best network. When it alerts me that there's movement, I click to answer. It says," answered by another user or device is full." But guess what, I didn't share with anyone. It only saves the pictures and not the video. You have to manually click the video live and sometimes you still won't be able to see what your recording. Please have an update on this app to fix it.

Notification will not pop up on phone to view video unless the app is opened on the screen. When you go into the app after you hear the doorbell, it is a long wait before the picture pops up (if it does). I got it to work a few times but now it does not work. The doorbell rings, but the notification does not pop up on my phone to answer. And what videos I did get was not saved. The only thing that is saved in the phone is pictures, not videos. Instructions to set up the app are not clear.

You get what you pay for! Works good when within wifi range, and your device is connected to same wifi network as the device. But when you leave the wifi range and someone pushes the doorbell, you will not get a notification on your device. And if you're lucky enough to have the app open and it's simply minimized in a task tray, then you will get a notification. However, it may be 20+ minutes after the doorbell is pushed. Goo luck, stick to Ring Doorbell, spend the $ get better quality.

The app is not responding upon the doorbell is pressed. You can hear it rings, but there is no pop-up from the app. Sometimes, it just doesn't show up, or the pop-up delays until the visitor has already gone. If an app is not functioning simultaneously with the doorbell, the system is useless. You can only use the doorbell as a regular ring bell. Do not buy it or pay for upgrading. There is no service at all.

Updated my rating after fixing the horrible latency by disabling the power saving mode and keeping it running in background. A critical design flaw. A minute of delay between doorbell press and phone notification makes this almost useless. I say almost since it MAY capture an image of the visitor if you are lucky. Whoever wrote the app needs to make sure that the push notification is immediate, within half a second. Otherwise, it is just another piece of junk that my wife has bought online.

Video doorbell app. IS EXTREMELY LAGGY. Like a bad 90's video AOL connection. PLEASE FIX THIS APP. THIS APP MAKES THE ACTUAL PRODUCT WORK LIKE GARBAGE!!!! Video quality is very saturated!! Motion sensor only worked once while setting up, DOES NOT work at all!!! The only thing that actually works is the ding dong bell. Sadly disappointing 😞 Time stamp is military/train time, no option to change it either? Tutorial video is limited, the list goes on. It was $10 with exaggerated advertising.😒
