Warranty
Using the BMC Companion App, showcases your commitment to keeping your valued bike in pristine condition! We support and reward this dedication by extending the warranty of your BMC bike frame from the original 3-year warranty to 5 years if registered within 6 months of initial purchase.
Bike Details
To start with, the app is exclusively for owners of BMC models from 2018 on. But we promise to expand our capacity with the next release, so if your valued bike comes from a different brand, you can manually enter the required info whilst still being rewarded with the same functionalities experienced by owners of BMC models from 2018 on.
Maintenance Reminders
After registering within the app, the rider is asked to set up their Companion account by linking their bike and their related cycling apps (Eg: Strava). The combination of your riding and bike info will trigger health check reminders for each bike component.
Service History
Keep track of your bike’s complete service history as well as additional notes from you or your trusted mechanic in a user-friendly interface. All tracked at the component level but also viewable across the overall bike.

Hands down the least useable app installed on my phone. The features added for tracking (adding, replacing) components is either a work in progress or incredibly poorly implemented. They are not intuitive at all. Want to replace a tire? Delete the tire, exit the app, relaunch the app, then add a new tire. Gah It looks nice, so 1 star. Good support for my typical use cases: -4 stars

I recently ever an email from BMC to install the app. I don't know if it is actually genuine because some things were concerning. Some spelling mistakes and when I wanted to link it to wahoo it told me to reset my wahoo password... Sadly I also own two BMC's that are both older than 2018 so I couldn't even select my bike (not that that's a massive issue I could just select a similar modern bike to act as a stand-in). If it is genuinely from BMC then it's an easy way to track component wear.

Not much works unfortunately. I am linked to Strava and my rides go to the ap but the milage does not add to my bike. There are 3 bikes that are registered. All the same but there is no way to delete the 3xtra ones. I get notifications that my rides have been uploaded to the ap. However there is no way to look at them. Pretty much nothing works.

Every single time I open this app it crashes. I really want to use the app, but it's unusable.

Can only register bikes manually with bikes from 2018 onwards. BMC responded to say older bikes can be entered manually. What is the point of using the app if I have to enter my bike's entire spec manually? And why are BMC not able to add bikes older than 2018 to their database - have they lost the specs, or is their so simply unable to support years older than 2018. Guess we'll never know, but it does say a lot about what they think of their customers.

App cannot read the QR code on the bike. Other QR code apps read it easily
