This app is a waste of time. Often old articles from days ago are still the featured headlines when you open the app. The vast majority of the printed news is merely cut and paste from the associated press (the voice for the printed lamestream media). The local writing is typically on a junior high school level. And articles from months ago are run near the middle and lower parts of the page as though the news is still relevant.

They should change their name to Late, Old Information instead of News. The news stories often have poor writing and grammar and are left up uncorrected, possibly due to using transcripts of poorly written live tv stories, but it would then point to an across-the-board issue. Miniscule stories are left on the app for long periods of time. The snippets of stories is especially true in the national category, down the page. Stories are left up in various categories for weeks.

The app notifications do not function properly. I've disabled every type of notification in-app yet it still sends them. They weren't sending many until the most recent app updates but now it's many a day about stuff that barely qualifies as "news". I'll have to revoke access at the android level. Walb has been in a nose dive in quality for a while overall. They don't even bother to proofread the article titles anymore let alone the content.

Very easy to keep up with the news. I like the watch live feature the most. Because my TV has no antana so I can watch the news on my phone.. update now 6/2024 this is still the best news app I've come across I install on every phone n tablet I've got. Tho sometimes it runs slow after updating I have to restart my. Phone then it run just fine

With each new update for past year the site has worsened.. I used to look at app several times a day. I now only look at it occasionally , news is old , repetitive, poor spelling , poor grammar, not friendly to the eye and absolutely too many ads.

I'll be reading an article, and the screen goes white. Nonstop. The old app was better. I have to back out them go back searching for what I was reading, and same thing will happen again. 30 sec adds are to much.

I downloaded the update a month ago and it seems I had a virus on my phone from this one app. It would never load the story I wanted to read. I finally had to delete the app and I had to download Fox31 to get my local news. I've asked others about having problems with this new update and they have had problems too
