I figured out how it works now. 3 stars because the reservation is limited for 2 adults and 2 kids only. I have 3 kids, and it makes it impossible to make reservations through the app. Also, it is missing the request changes for room or flight information. If your flight changes, you have no option to send a message through the app. My option is you should have an option for users to enter flight information and able to change.

App is not functional. I'm at the hotel now. The app keeps freezing and locking up, and when I do get it, I have to start over with my birking info every time, even though I'm already at the hotel and checked in. It has very little if any information on much of anything. There is no map of the property anywhere in the app that I can find. I have tried to use the app the request services, but the person who showed up had no idea what we needed and spoke no English so he ended up just leaving.

Booking App Only! Installed this to see if it would help at all as a first time stayer with Riu, but it does not have any way to book dinners, check on resort status, explore the nearby area, or anything specific to my trip. App works perfectly fine but my advice would be to simply use their website instead for all the same functions. Hope this helps someone!

Crashes Immediately - App is non functional. I hope the hotel is better than the app. We'll see in a couple of weeks. 🤷‍♂️ EDIT: For anyone having the 'insta-crash', try giving the app permissions to Calendar and/or Location in the App Settings. Apparently, the app doesn't set or request those permissions on install, but doesn't work without one or both.

App is fully broken / non-functional on my Android phone (and others in my travel group) and crashes every time it's opened. There is literally no way for my group to get the dining locations and hours, room service menu, or entertainment schedule while staying at the resort because all the resort's info has moved from paper to the app. The front desk doesn't have any scheduling info to provide other than opening the app on a staff member's working phone to show us.

While at the resort, app immediately shuts down. It is the only way to find out about club events and open/close times for restaurants, etc. Useless!

Cannot access app. I have forgotten my password and when I follow recovery protocol I get no reply or reset details from Riu. I have reinstalled the app and on the password recovery page now the app will not allow any details to be entered.

The app freezes the moment you hit, select room. I downloaded the app because the number to call from Canada doesnt work - says it's not assigned. So many reviews dating far back about the glitches in the app, yet nothing seems to have been done to fix it. Very disappointing.
