With no money, no space truck and no prospects you were in need of some good luck and it seems that fortune may have smiled upon you. You've been given a Standard Junkbuster to pilot through the galaxy and enough Ching to fill your cargo bay with Moo Frogs, Pickled Nuts and Moon Wine. It looks like you're finally on your way to becoming a true Profiteer!If you enjoy space-trading games, working your way up from being a lowly space trucker through to becoming a mega-rich gazillionaire, then you're going to love Profiteer.
You'll find yourself exploring the galaxy, using the special traits of each planet, trading exotic goods, dabbling in the black market, gambling, transporting passengers, avoiding pirates, getting sucked through wormholes, sabotaging your competitors and so much more. All the while the other players (who are a mixture of cunning, calculating, criminal and downright bonkers) will stop at nothing in their own quests to become Profiteers.

There are different types of space trucks to purchase and many ways to improve and upgrade those that you own. You can make your plans carefully by checking the news to see what's happening throughout the galaxy or you can smuggle illegal items between planets on a wing and a prayer, hoping to avoid the attention of pirates and intergalactic police.
The game features ten soundtracks, a unique graphical style, multiple difficulty levels, open-ended gameplay and challenging AI opponents.
Profiteer has been carefully designed so that a player can take a turn or two when they have five minutes to fill or so that they can, just as easily, settle in for a full evening's playing.

RokSoft is constantly aiming to improve the Profiteer experience for its players and welcomes their feedback. We were asked to add volume controls and improve the game mechanics for multiple trucks and swiftly implemented those changes. We also fix any bugs, problems or issues that are reported.

Changed from 5 stars to 1 star because it crashes upon app start. Sent reports but it seems that this developer doesn't care anymore as I have not gotten a response via email or play store. Don't waste your money. It's broken. Go get a mod if you wanna try a previous version that works.

Great game!. It's perfect in almost every aspect (I didn't like the TTS feature, but I guess it's an accesibility feature, so excellent decision. Besides, it can be deactivated). It has an excellent tutorial, and a really good UI. However, I have noticed it has not been updated for a while. I really hope development is still on. Congratulations for this awesome work and keep it up, devs!.

I really enjoyed the gameplay... when I could actually play the game. Every time I try to play, the game crashes on startup. As much as I would like to give a good review, I simply can't, for the time being.

Exactly what I wanted which is a more developed/advanced dope wars game like was on my ti86 back in the day. good for quick play on my commute or to reset my brain in between clients. For 2 bucks/how many hours I got out of it I paid pennies an hour for easy entertainment.

I would like to say i like this game. it is very similar to gazillionair, a game ive been looking for. it is very challaging. if you change anything i suggest that though similar find differnt things that keeps this from being a duplacate. Im glad i found this worth more than two bucks.

So the game was recently fixed, it works now. However I cannot find out how to switch to a new ship after buying it. Not sure if I'm missing something, but I'm unable to figure it out.

Great game, or was... But now it crashes on launch and says "this app was made for an older version of Android". Please update! Again, great game, solid. Update👽👽👽

** Updated review. The new version is awesome! No issues so far and the Google Play crash issue is fixed. Loved playing Gazillionaire as a kid and it's great to have something similar today. Nice work!
