The South Carolina WIC Program is a supplemental nutrition program for women, infants and children under age 5.

WIC is a federally funded program that provides healthy supplemental foods and nutrition counseling for pregnant women, new mothers, infants and children under age five. The program has an extraordinary 35-year record of preventing children's health problems and improving their long-term health, growth and development. WIC serves over 9.1 million women, infants and children through over 10,000 clinics nationwide.

The South Carolina WIC Mobile App will give WIC participants the opportunity to view upcoming appointments, view food benefits that have been issued to them in the clinic, scan UPCs while shopping at the store to see if the UPC is a WIC Approved item or not, and provide information on locations of WIC Stores and WIC Clinics across the State of South Carolina.

The goal of the South Carolina WIC Mobile App is to give participants all the information they need at their fingertips to make their shopping experience fun and easy.

In the very beginning I loved the app, due to the fact that it allowed you to view your current and future benefits. Not only was it a life saver for me, but it also saved me from embarrassing myself at check out. Fast-forward: now I'm stuck everytime looking clueless at checkout when it says no benefits for a particular item. I have to play a guessing game when it comes to what's available and what's been utilized, ALL BECAUSE I CAN NO LONGER VIEW MY CURRENT/FUTURE BENFITS ON THE APP.

useful when it works right. It sometime freezes doesn't scroll so allowed items can be seen. The first time this happened i thought his benefits had been changed so i chose from the items that were on the page i could see. Some wasted benefits needless to say, he didn't like the items i had to pick from. Disabled vet. income is less than 500 a month. Ive served/worked most of my life for the allowance i have earned for him. App needs to be rock solid. Same issue after reinstalling the app.

This app does not work correctly anymore! You use to be able scroll down to see everything when I first downloaded the app, whenever they changed over to card. I kinda found a way to scroll, but you have to hold down a finger and highlight while scrolling down but even that only goes down so far. Glad I'm not the only one having this problem though! Really hope they fix it!

So ever since I had this app it's been very buggy and just not user friendly. There is no ability to scroll to see benefits. Sometimes it would show benefits that aren't there. Well I opened it up today and was surprised to see a completely different interface and look. I immediately went to try and scroll to see approved foods and it works! Thank you!

This app is great. The only thing that bothers me is sometimes when I look to see my current benefits the page is blank and I have to either restart the app or go into another tab in order to see my current benefits. other then that its great having everything handy and being able to see what you can and can't get before you bring it to the register.

Edit I see the notification now says where to find the info thanks so much! Decent overall but it gives alerts sometimes and when I open the app it won't show me anything. I just got one for a quaker recall but when I go into the app I can't find this anywhere, I think I clicked everything on the app and nothing. This has happened before.

Im having trouble signing into my app. Its been saying failed server. I had IT call me they told me there is nothing wrong with the app. Yes it is. I have Uninstalled & reinstall the app 4 times. This is getting ridiculous. Never had a problem with WIC until last 3 weeks. I need to get into my app so I can scan my items to see what I can get and not get. My babies need it & yall are lying some were saying nothing is wrong when clearly it is. Not only me but others are having the same problem

For some reason this app no longer works with my phone!? I bought this phone brand new this year, so that makes absolutely NO SENSE for it to all the sudden become incompatible. I really NEED this app at the grocery store. Shopping with WIC is already difficult enough, now I have to do it almost blindly & miss out on my benefits my baby needs. This needs to be fixed ASAP!
