was working fine for a year and now complains wall floor thermostat isn't connected to wifi and then the app bugs and play services wants to clear the cache.

the app would not connect my Andoid phone to the Sinope water control valve , I had assisstance and tried everything the support tech suggested except installing the neviweb app on my surface tablet which I just tried today (2 days later) and now have come to the conclusion that there is no app for windows based p.c. ?

I wish I could instruct a thermostat to change the setting at a specific date and time. Just once, not every day or week. Also it would help if the app would run in the background more, or at least open the last page I was at. When I change a temperature setting, then navigate to a different app, and later come back to the Neviweb app, it closes and reopens at the beginning. That means more clicks and some wait to change the thermostat setting again. That's inefficient.

Works really well with complete remote access. I really like the geofencing, so if I leave, I don't need to worry about setting it as Away. The one change that I'd like is to be able to shrink the geofencing zone below 1 KM, but other than, I only have good things to say, as it works flawlessly.

On Android 14, the latest version of the app, 2.23.24, continues requesting an update to 2.2.9 or higher and blocking the addition of my new Sinopé WiFi Thermostat. Tech support numbers were unanswered. Finally found an old iPhone to add the thermostat in the iOS version app then sync to Android. --- Update: Thanks for your prompt reply. I tried the workaround several times, but unfortunately that gives me the same error. The weird thing is the setup wizard works for ZigBee and Web programmable

Edit: I info I needed from tech support but I still can't believe the thermostat is locked to using a hub and that if the firmware isn't updated when ownership of a home is transferred, that I am unable to use any other system to try to connect the thermostats to wifi. It seems like it just locks new owners of homes up. All this smart tech is not intuitive. I can't speak to the app itself because I can't even try. Extra star for customer service only.

Much better now that we can make rules based on presence. While I do like being able to categorise the automations, the implementation is a bit clumsy. I see that standby has finally been added to ZigBee thermostats. Since nothing is mentioned about this I assume it's the same as for the WiFi models that when the thermostats are in Standby mode, the heating will not start regardless of the ambient temperature. Thanks for these improvements!
