More than just a recording app, it lets you hear every topline, verse, or riff in full musical context over Splice sounds—right from your phone. Instantly test ideas, explore genres, and unlock new creative possibilities.
Humming a melody? Strumming a riff? Working out lyrics? Splice Mic turns spontaneous moments into real musical opportunities. Every take is a step toward your next track. When you're ready, export to your DAW and turn those mobile ideas into full songs.
INSTANT INSPIRATION WITH CREATE MODE
Generating new musical ideas and starting beats on the go has never been easier. Simply tap on the Create icon, select your desired genre, and immediately drop into a Stack of loops from the Splice library. You may find the generated Stack fits what you’re looking for perfectly, but if not, that’s great too. Developing a musical idea is often about trying combinations of sounds and figuring out what feels good to you—Create Mode is a great companion for that process.
Create Mode leaves creative control in your hands—shuffle to create a whole new Stack or add new layers of compatible sounds and your own recordings. If you want to replace a single loop with a new option of the same type of sound, swipe right. If you want to delete the layer altogether, swipe left. You can also solo a layer by holding down, or tap the layer to mute. Once you’ve chosen your Stack layers, you can fine-tune your loop with volume adjustments and BPM control. When your idea hits the spot, save it with a click. You can also click the Stack icon to hear any individual loop in the Splice library in musical context with Create mode.
SAVE IT. SEND IT. SHARE IT.
Creating and saving your Stack is just the beginning. Not only is the Stack accessible from anywhere you can access your Splice account, but you can also share it directly with a unique link, AirDrop it to friends, or upload to Dropbox, Drive, or another cloud service right from your device for seamless collaboration. If you work in Ableton Live or Studio One, you can export your Stack as a DAW file and open it up with key and tempo information synced when you’re back in the studio. You can also save as a bounced stereo mix to hear the full idea rendered.

I tried so many music creation apps in the last few months to experiment with my band and this one is by far the coolest. I tried DAWs, Beatmakers, Loopers, etc. and virtually ALL of them will have something negative: paywall, ads, boring, complex, etc. With Splice I can make a little idea in few minutes and then fill all the gaps with my band. Sometimes we might just practice and jam and other times maybe a full song can come up from the little idea. Keep it up Splice!

Always having issues with syncing and splice desktop app not functioning properly.. currently unable to save stacks on Android. In saying that , still way better than loop cloud or any others I've tried.

It's good , but would make it better is no limitations on tracks or add four more instead of the limit of eight, and a way to loop a loop to a smaller variable of the wave tracks. For example when I choose to create a stack from stock selections of instruments instead of using just the whole thing I can shorten it a small portion of the wave file , but still only comes in every four or eight bars .

1. Start subscription with Splice. 2. Receive credits to purchase samples. 3. Redeem samples and sounds. 4. Cancel subscription. 5. Lose access to both credits and purchased samples. Seems like a legit business model. /S

Credits are theft. I subscribed and payed for a few months building up credits. I then realized I wasn't going to use all the credits so unsubscribed until I needed more credits and they removed your credits. So what did I pay for??? I literally used about 3 one shot sounds that cost me around £50!!!! Robbery!!

Garbage app. Expect me to pay to favorite packs and download them, while bandlab have better alternatives with hundreds of thousands of packs for free, and mostly, you can actually download the music. I can also publish it to bandlab, but these absolute scammers and cheapskate expect me to pay a fee to like and download samples?????? Trash game, and I will never want to see it on my pages again

Ha! Awful sample quality. EVERTHING requires buying something else to get any use 09/03/2024 Just read the developer's response, the sample quality very poor. So unless they resample or use better bit rate nothing can be done to resolve the issue.

The apps a good one It has diverse sounds beat and so on But the problem I have with it is that anytime I try to add a sound to likes or create a stack it keeps saying I have to create a splice web plan But apart from all those it's a really good app So I'm rating this app 3 out of 5
