Great free app. Worth the $6 of the paid version even without the extra features. I like that you can do metering a couple different ways, and I've found it pretty close to accurate, enough I don't worry about it if I use the app instead of my proper meters. I can also set it to third stop, half, or whole to match whatever camera I am carrying. Never used it for flash metering, so no idea how the Max mode works, but for both ambient and reflective in one app it's a good tool.

I strongly recommend getting a proper lightmeter (the in-cam one on a DSLR will suffice) and CHECKING if it gives you generally the same numbers. I didn't, and ended up overexposing film for about half a year. On my Motorola g72 phone, it overexposes almost exactly 4 stops out of the box. It may be the issue of the phone cam (it's not a very good phone), the app is great otherwise. Navigate to bottom left in the camera meter section and see "Adjust", then select corresponding correction value.

Easy to use but inaccurate, too warm by about 1000 Kelvin. Had a light set to 7400 pointed at a white card which the app read at under 6500. The video preview from the camera is insanely off-balance, depicting an extremely warm environment, possibility contributing to the inaccurate reading. Samsung Galaxy S23.

Meters excellently, I love the feature to add a camera profile to limit the aperature and shutter speed recommendations to the camera you're shooting. Excellent UI and hasn't let me down yet!

I like the app, the functionality and look but it just doesn't work for me. While my digicam meters 1s for f/8 ISO400 this app meters 24s for the same aperture and ISO. Am I missing something or is my phone not compatible?

I havent been able to use your app since it freezes , and when it does so I can't use my camera outside the app I have to reboot my phone. I thought it was because I didn't have the paid version so I paid but nothing changed, still crashing freeze my phone, forcing me to do a reboot. I sent you an email+ reminders but no response. Please proceed with a refund. I want my money back.

Downloaded it this morning and went for a walkabout with my Sigma SD10, which has a pretty accurate light meter. And this was spot-on in 95% of my tests. The other 5% is negligible and in some of these variances, the results were better when I manually set the camera values as per this light meter. I still shoot a lot of vintage film cameras, and this app would be perfect for great exposures. Highly recommended.

Under sensor preferences you set the app to read max value which turns it into a flash meter. A quick test revealed the app has good accuracy. The app also has an adjustment so you can calibrate it which I intend to do later. My phone has to be in legacy mode which slows spot metering. Also the app is locked on aperture priority (set aperture and iso and the app tells you shutter speed). The app is very good but the app could use shutter and iso priority. I lost my professional light meter to a flood but intend to replace it with this app.
