Heater will not connect to "contactless"NFC after spending over an hour trying to get it to connect. I had NFC switched on, and still nothing. The user interface on the app is also terrible. No clear instructions. Don't waste your money. Buy a physical temp control heater and save yourself the headache. I hear that when you lose power, it's also a pain to try and reconnect. If that's the case, no thanks.

For the contactless heaters, it almost never reads the NFC, even with it enabled. Not to mention the fact I need to pull the heater out of the water to even get it to read! Adjusting the temperature too often locks you out of your device permanently with the justification of "abnormal activity". Not to mention the fact that the heater only powers on for about 10 seconds before turning off again. Love sicce's powerheads but avoid these heaters like the plague!

The app doesn't work at all. Updated firmware on the accessories to be able to use the pump. Connected to WiFi fine. Connected to device fine. Attempting to change any of the flow controls or flow rate in app doesn't work. Best part is the controller it comes with for manual tuning also doesn't work. Pretty terrible experience all around

Not bad, love the pump but the app needs some work. The power dial is my biggest pet peeve, the dial should also have a plus and negative to be able to control the dial by single digits rather than scrolling and letting the dial sit on whatever digit it slides to. My power is 24% atm, getting it to 25% nearly impossible with the dial and that 1% makes a huge difference when it comes to a reef system. The temp reading is meh.

Maybe the app is fine... But is useless unless it can connect to the chosen device... (Scuba contactless heater). My NFC reader works fine but there is a definite problem with the heater's chip .. also pointless if I have to remove the heater to make any changes. I need a third hand to hold heater while I hold the phone to scan and unsuccessfully try to calibrate or set the thermostat.... This is almost as bad as the eheim wifi heater!

Yup! This heater is JUNK!! I can't believe i fell for the "contactless" sales pitch. I did everything that was required.Even watching the video where they make it look like it's no problem,and then you stand around like an idiot trying to get your phone to connect for over an hour and nothing happens.......Evidently, after reading the reviews this company needs to "Take it back to the drawing board"!

First off I want say great concept. Non contact heater that you can control from your phone. However before you roll out a heater that connects to your smartphone, you might want to actually make sure it connects to users phones, lol. This product has a lot of potential but a long way to go in making it successful. Start with the basics first and make sure it will connect to users smartphones and go from there. Shame on Sicce for just throwing this out into the market like they did.

Crashes, does not connect. 1 hour into trying to set up app. Instructions are not thorough. Now after 2.5 hours, finally was able to control pump with app. Ok, not bad, sluggish, doesn't always respond. Decent power for pump size. We'll see how it does and update later.
