I use this excellent app on both my Android phone & iPad - and I can recommend it for any driver of a supported MINI. You can check the current status of your car (locked / alarm set / roof & windows closed), plus tyre pressures, service requirements etc. Sending destinations to the car is easy and, if you have parked in an unfamiliar place, the app will guide you back to your MINI !! Lastly, you can check the fuel consumption or battery usage for every journey - and you get a monthly report.

Has recently (Oct 24) lost all charging history. Used to work well with Octopus EV overnight charging, but not anymore. Not the quality I expected. Doesn't connect quickly or reliably. Useful but not user friendly. Easier to check settings in the car itself! August 2022 - has recently become unreliable in storing charging data.

The app looks and feels amazing and really enhances the functionality of the car (which I also love) BUT all my notifications and some of the sections on the app appear in German, along with any email I'm sent from MINI connected I've tried checking every setting and I cannot see where or why this is happening. Any advice or help welcome as I'm having to copy/paste into Google translate to make sure I'm not missing anything important x

Keeps logging me out and removing all my user data. Now doesn't update in the app when I charge the car at home with the mains plug and says it isn't plugged in when it is and it is charging. And 10 mins after posting that some how it works......

Simple app. Needs to do live GPS rather than just when it is parked. Widget is very temperamental and sometimes doesn't appear properly at all. Sending instructions takes a long time. Closing windows automatically would be better than just telling me they are open.

Bought my Mini 2 weeks ago and have had 2 issues with the app already. My MOT date is showing 'overdue' when it is due next August. Plus, my charging and departure times keep getting changed on the app, but my car still shows the time I have chosen. Contacted Mini Connect after 2 return trips to the showroom. They have now sent me back to the showroom as it is not their error. I have uninstalled/ reinstalled, logged out and in, and removed and reconnected the car Not a good first impression.

Does not work with Ovo energy app. Constantly overrides ovo and changes the charging times. It also keeps changing departure times. I programme them in then it changes them all as soon as I plug the car in. Extremely frustrating.

It's quite useful, but I think it can be better, especially remote command. It's took a while to send command to the car like around 30 - 40 sec even I stand nearby the car. Ventilation is seem useful but not in Thailand since the weather is very hot. Only light wind is not enough. Hopefully, this function can be improved to air con. Lastly, android auto, please.
