EDIT: Disappointed that full screen ads have been added to the app at all. Especially when they block & interfere with whatever app I'm using. Freezes my phone every time. --- Everything I've been looking for!! I love the option to add Google Search results as a dictionary. Ads are unobtrusive, every lookup has been fast even on my glitchy phone, ability to add notes for context is unique and incredibly helpful. I also love the option for haptic feedback when a definition pops up. Just PERFECT!!

Does what I want over the stock Android dictionary app, specifically look ups within look ups. The overlay on the center of the screen is obtrusive though, I'd prefer if it popped up on the lower half of my screen without a dark overlay over the rest of it. Being able to quickly look up a word and immediately re-read it in context is nice. Edit: Reachability setting doesn't change that the box covers up text underneath it. Imo, the box would take up 35% of the screen without obscuring any text.

The app is, in my mind, and absolute must have for everyone! No longer can people make an excuse to not expand their vocabulary or misuse a word. Having the ability to copy any word and get a quick definition of a word. The only suggestion i could give is i'd like additional sentences giving context to the words, but other than that this app is flawless and will always be the first app i download whenever i upgrade phones. A++

Seems like a great app. Unfortunately, though, it isn't compatible with Android 10 or up; which you don't find out until after installing it and then you get a pop-up. I really wish it was stated in the description. Waste of time. UPDATE 01/27/21: In response to Dev's comment. It does work in Android 11 by selecting/highlighting a word. But it doesn't seem to work universally in all apps.

Update: pop up feature no longer works with play books. Well designed app, excellent in this regard. Copy feature works well for use with Google play books. My only complaint is the source, not a fan of wordnet. Could you please add the option to choose a source like oxford, webster, or Collins?

Great app, I really like the seamless integration with Anki, but sadly the app's word search suggestion list isn't responsive and doesn't even show up after I've typed out the word I'm searching for for some reason so I have click on other sections and come back to the search section before that list shows up... Will update my review if this ever gets fixed.

this is exactly what i was looking for. most of the apps like this pops up the definition but you have to use the option copy which is annoying and fills up phone cache. but with this app it adds up another tab at the end of the copy/paste menu named LOOKUP where you tap and get the pop up definition of a word and another great thing is you can choose some other dictionaries as well such as urban dictionary, Google define and a few more. using those at the same time is not a problem as well..

Developer efforts highly appreciated. However, app mostly works on browser like Chrome etc. Anywhere else "look up" option doesn't pop up if a word is selected /highlighted. Copy option is not practical, as many a times long texts are copied not intended for word lookup. I like concept behind app because I am iPhone user and was looking same functionality in android OS.
