The new algorithm is ridiculous. Ratings now are far more inaccurate than they used to be years ago. They do not reflect a players level of play consistently, nor do they accurately correlate player performance with established standards. Player ratings can jump an entire dupr level in a couple of games. Player's abilities do not jump like that. The algorithm needs to take into account how long a player has been at a level. In chess ratings, non-provisional ratings don't spike up or down.

Not impressed. For the past 3 days, I have been unable to open the app. It constantly cycles through 2 screens and won't allow me to sign in. I have uninstalled the app several times and the problem continues.

With all the value comes terrible experience. Upsell screen that appears when app is lainched intentionally hides the "X" in the top right corner, so some users might not be able to close it. It basically forces them to become paid users - totally not fair practice. Ad blocks clutter the screen, fingers get tired while scrolling past the ads to get to the useful information. I won't be surprised if the app owners will decide to show video ads while you just keep looking/analyzing your data.

Dupr is amazing at finding ways to drive people away. from constantly changing algorithms to this app that has soooo many ads. not surprising that a scrappy company has a scrappy app.

I have not used an app that is as annoying as this one is in a long time. The ads are terrible. Navigating the app is also a little annoying. The worst is the functionality is broken. I played in a DUPR event. I was told matches were entered, received an email from DUPR that I received my score, but still the app shows nothing. +version is not worth it. I upgraded hoping it would at least let me see the matches and my rating, but no.

Very poor experience. I’ve been trying to register an account for my child, but the process has been extremely frustrating. I’ve sent multiple emails, but support is very slow—each response takes about three days, and they’re always generic, template-style replies that don’t address the issue. There seems to be no way to interact with a real human to actually solve the problem. Overall, it’s been a disappointing and time-consuming experience.

The algorithm was poorly designed and does not reflect so many variables. The APP is terrible, it does not load properly and having ads every 5secs for an app that you want to open for 10sec once a day is just an abusive attempt to make money for something that does not deliver value. They are lucky that many businesses and competitions are still using DUPR, so users have no other choice, but if they don't start putting real effort on it, this app will be short living.

The only reason to download this app is because dupr is the globally recognised system for ratings. Which is strange because the app looks like a scam. Cons - prepare to be swarmed by ads - poor user interface - app crashes
