'MyWorldWeather' is a mobile version of the WWIS developed for Android platform. It is equipped with location-based technology to detect the location where the user is located and to provide users with official city weather forecast automatically.

The World Weather Information Service (WWIS) website is the first and the only one global website presenting OFFICIAL weather observations, weather forecasts and climatological information for selected cities provided by National Meteorological and Hydrological Services (NMHSs) worldwide.WWIS aims to provide authoritative and reliable weather information of NMHSs around the world to all internet users and media.The WWIS website was developed and maintained by the Hong Kong Observatory (HKO) on behalf of the World Meteorological Organization (WMO). By March 2017, WWIS provided official weather information for 2123 cities in which 1997 cities are available with forecast from 135 members while 1961 cities are available with climatological information from 169 members.

I really want to use this app because I don't want to support privatized weather services but it's basically unusable to me. First of all, the widget disappears constantly, which is my number 1 usage for weather apps. Second of all there isn't much forecasting available and the display doesn't show completely in app.

Does its job as an official weather app from the WMO UN subdivision with historical data and current weather data from governments. Unfortunately though the locations available are limited and features are limited too. Also the app design is super basic.

Gravely unimpressive sand inaccurate. The weather map section showed clear sky over my enabled location when in reality, there was generous clouds cover. This app ain't with keeping.
