The app has issues of not reading the notification immediately as it arrive, sometimes waiting minutes after the notification is received to read it. Also, sometimes, it will read the app name to which the notification is coming from but does not continue with the message. Seems to work better than others app like it, but has its issues. Update. seems to have issues when using on a device equipped with dual sim cards. continuely kicking me out of my paid subscription.

This app is clever that it'll shorten an announcement with a long tracking/serial number within a message. However, most crucially, the announcement volume needs to be even louder in relation to other apps like music (despite the Settings to do so; needs 125%, 150% options) to be audible while driving. Also, with Do Not Disturb mode on my phone at night, this app doesn't automatically resume in the morning, so I'm having to cycle phone's volume Silent/On every morning for this app to resume.

Motorola has an app on my phone that tries to do this (Moto Voice) but it never worked. I thought it was a good idea though so I found this app and it works great 👍 reads texts anytime I am driving (using car Bluetooth) or using headphones. The trial is very generous, just disable reading notifications for all apps besides messages (or w/e you use) and then the free 20 notifications are plenty..

I've recently switched to Audify notifications reader after using FNR for many years. I'm very pleased with the Simplicity of the app and how well it works through my own phone speaker or other connected devices. Only thing that seems to be missing is the ability to read the entire notification instead of truncating long messages. I have not seen an option for that. Otherwise, I upgraded to premium within days of using it because it works so well for me.

Truly AMAZING App! I use a bluetooth headset, have it configured to activate when I turn on the headset and filtered it to just the notifications I want read aloud. Works flawlessly and very convenient when I walking, working, driving... One bug, after each update, app notifications stop being read aloud. I have to delete and re-pair my bluetooth headset to fix it. Update: 4 years since using this app and my only disappointment is I can't give it another 5 stars for each of use!

This is a great app for reading the content of notifications -- saves a lot of picking up my phone while I'm working! Tons of customization available! One feature is love to see is the ability to have your media pause until Audify is finished reading, then resume. At the moment, it reads over top of whatever you were listening to, which can be a jumble.

Frequently. The App seems to automatically turn off the setting which enables notifications to be heard using wired or Bluetooth headsets. This has become a big downside for the App as I am constantly having to go into the Apps settings to switch it off and enable it again which always fixes the problem for a day or so. A great App simply let down by such a small problem.

Works with WhatsApp! Yes! This is it! I have tested countless notification reader app and this is the ONLY app that I've been able to get working successfully. All the other ones either could not work, or would announce WhatsApp senders' names but not read their message content. My only gripe is I wish it were easier to stop the notification speech if you don't need to hear the whole message. If it could stop when the play/pause button is pressed on Bluetooth headsets, that would be nice.
