How Pie VAT Refunds work:
1. After you checkout in store, ask to do a refund via Pie Systems. Open the Pie VAT app and scan the QR code the cashier provides. Take a quick picture of the paper receipt. Submit!

Great app, allows for retroactive submission as long as you have the original receipt and can make it to a store location. Prefer this over global blue, at least in Norway!

Cashless refund, you can't take cash. Still need to be checked by staffs. Making things more complicated, and almost everyone needs help.

Super convenient and easy to use. The only minor problem was that I only had an electronic (emailed, pdf) receipt. I could generate an image but the app required a photo be taken. So I needed to print the receipt in order to take a photo of it. Otherwise it was a very smooth and fast process.
