$25 holds in order to use a FREE station in order to charge(makes no sense) charged my car yesterday and it was fine. I had to charge my other car before going to work and the app deleted my card info and it the app won't allow to charge. LONG Story short it can hold your money many times but if you don't have $25 on your card you not charging ESPECIALLY IF IT'S FREE

Terrible. They keep a $25 hold on your card even if the machine was faulty or did not connect. There is no way to prepay either. Report them to your state's better business bureau, if this has happened to you. Their machines are rarely working too. You get to one and it looks fine but when it doesn't connect it keeps your $25 for a couple of days. It adds up if you go to several non working machines. If you see EVConnect stay away go anywhere else. 50/50 chance it's not working.

I tried using this at 2 different locations, and after going thru the sign up process (that shouldn't need all the info it makes you fill out) it never works. You put in card information then watch the loading screen spin for 2 minutes before it bring you back to the main screen with no error message or anything. Waste of time and effort until they get it sorted

I used this app to pay for charging as a guest. I charged for 1.5 hours and then unplugged my car and the screen said charge complete with a $5.50 cost. The app didn't update to reflect that it had been disconnected for 12 hours and I was charged over $170 in idling fees. I called EC Connect and they said they can't locate a transaction made as a guest in the system and don't provide receipts to guests, so they're unwilling to fix the fraudulent transaction. Do not use this service.

It's awesome! FREE and exceptionally convenient. Unfortunately, I don't own my own home...I reside in apartment bldg. And overnight charging is impossible. Therefore I'm forced to use the available charging stations. With the 2 in my area, they're becoming more and more popular everyday. However this APP great! It allows me to even be able to confirm if a connecter is available so that I'm not making a blank trip lowering my available driving range risking running out FULLY! I SUGGEST THIS A

I used this app a few months ago with no problems. today's attempt to use the app at the same facility is a total fail. It will not allow me to input the email and password because a box pops up and says that the app requires an update. However, it is updated and appears to be ready to go, but this box pops up nonetheless and I am prevented from using the charging station. Totally frustrating.

Easy and very affordable DC charging . Setting up the app was super easy. At the station plug into my car, then just two clicks on the app and it starts the charge to my car. Very impressed. The rate ($0.30/kWh) is very reasonable. In 1/2 hour I have added 50%-60% charge to my SL Leaf battery. Better than 120V charge stations that are $3.00/ hour and lucky to get 15% charge on them. In 1 hour. Thank you

Buggy app, freezes often. Way too many stations are out of order. You will not find this out until you drive way out of your way & connect. Station ports do not lock into your car, so people will sometimes take your plug out & try to stretch it to their car if you are not in your vehicle. You should only be allowed to stop an active session by the app, not by pulling the plug. Pay attention to rates, because every station has different prices. There are fights at some stations when people idle.
