The MyNavy UNIFORMS application provides all Sailors with the necessary information and guidance to properly wear all Navy uniforms, components, and accoutrements. The app offers NAVADMINS, policy updates, FAQs, and illustrations on Navy uniforms from a variety of Department of the Navy sources, organizing all pertinent guidance into one simple, searchable app. The app features a gallery of helpful uniform instructions and images to illustrate proper wear and care of Working, Service, Dress, and Formal uniforms. In fact, the app has information on all basic, prescribed, and optional authorized uniform components and accoutrements.

KEY SECTIONS & FEATURES:
Uniform Browser
This capability allows Users to see visual examples of proper uniform wear of all types by selecting different options, such as rank/rating, occasion, and components. Users will also find pertinent information related to each selection.

Downloaded just fine. The confusion might be that it downloads twice. Once from the app store and the second time to download content in the app which takes awhile and at times looks like it has paused. Great resource for uniform matters and an easy quick reference. It also includes all uniforms, not just Type III's like earlier reviews said.

This app is helpful for all the basic stuff, but if you need to access the specialty information on rate, service, and merit insignias that is on the website, the app-to-browser transfer does not work. The screen stays stuck on loading and never progresses. If these websites are only accessible via a computer, WHY EVEN MAKE IT AN OPTION TO CLICK ON A PHONE APP?

App needs to be updated for the new PTU, new pictures for the Dress Uniforms, and it doesn't mention the tan fleece at all. Some people have the tan fleece and it makes sense to wear the tan fleece with coyote boots but in fact only some command can wear the tan fleece. Please mentiom that on the uniform app.

I noticed the negative reviews some left because they could not get past the disclaimer page. After I scrolled down through the disclaimer the "Accept" button appeared. Once inside the app, I loved how easy it was to find what I was looking for. Thank you for the time and effort you put into this app.

Much better app than it was previously. I use it quite often now as my go-to source of uniform related information so well done to whomever finally fixed this a while back.

It hangs on the disclaimer. There is no option to "accept" and go past this page. Nothing happens. Update: It took an hour but it finally worked. The "accept" popped up in the top right corner.

Does not work. Freezes at the disclaimer page and never opens. Have uninstalled and reinstalled a couple of times. Tried on WiFi and not, doesn't matter, never works.

The disclaimer page takes a few minutes to load (additional content download period), but after that the app performs as expected and has everything presented in a nice categorized order for easy searches. Even includes grooming standard references and direction.
