The original app crashed on my Galaxy Nexus running Android 4.0 This new app runs perfectly on my phone.
Hit Menu -> Change Robot to change the controls for your robot*
Hit Menu -> Change Command Setting to change the command setting to 1 or 2 (looking at the source code it looks to be the only two options) my phone works on 1
Hit Menut -> Change Code to enter the 4 digit code from your packaging.
*only tested on the Orange TankBot but the code is derived from the original app so it should work on any robot.
If it isn't working try changing the Command Setting.
