FAQ/Notes:
1. Swipe up or down to switch cameras.
2. High battery consumption?
• After you finish using the app so that it closes completely and no longer consumes battery and stops using the phone's camera, you should close the app using the "Back" button (bottom on the Galaxy Watch), not the "Home" one (top on Galaxy Watch) which will allow the app to continue running but in the background.
3. Connection issue?
• Tap "Settings / Permissions" inside the Camera One app on the phone and follow the instructions.
• Try to uninstall the Camera One app from your phone, install it again, and grant all the permissions the app asks you to. And you should allow everything, not just some of the requested ones, in order for the app to work correctly; and do not change the default app settings, until you check.

UPDATE May 2025: in-app payments being denied. Developer not responding to email. if pro subscription fails this will become a 1-star. Does exactly what it says, as long as the watch is in BT range. Low power / background works really well. Can record video easily longer than 2 hours if you have the storage. Android version 13 tends to show the app as running in the background.

It's a great app, with one major flaw - it needs a way to lock the buttons so you don't accidentally stop a video recording. Trying to recover from the mode that hides buttons can also be difficult (I entered the mode because of accidental clicks, so I had no idea what was happening). Accidental clicks seem to happen way too frequent while recording. Other than that, it's a great app and being able to see the video on your watch is genius.

I thought the camera gear app was good but this is on another level, - WHY - Because it is all on your watch screen, "no need to go back into the settings" - and with all the extra things - W/B - Effects all just at a touch of the watch screen. so if you want to control your phone camera from your watch and see what you're taken then look no further, this is just what you want,, p/s I worked it at about 10meters+ outdoors

Phone app randomly uses camera. Even when the watch app is closed and has not been used for weeks, I will find that the phone component is suddenly using the camera in the background! The only way to get it to turn off is to force open the phone's own camera app, which causes Camera One to error quit. If you find your phone is suddenly hot and has run out of battery, this is why. Shame, because apart from that it worked well.

all seems good until you take a photo from the watch and find you can't select the focal point in the image. you'll need to set everything up on the phone and then use the app/watch simply as a shutter button. you're as well to just use the timer on your mobile for same effect.

Great program, I used the free one for 2 days and then upgraded to paid, so glad I did! This is awesome for those group shots where you want everyone in (no risk of a stranger running away with your phone) you can set the timer from 2-10 seconds and alter most of the things you can via the phone, it has 5 filters (plus no filter). The quality of the preview on the watch is great and the new view video while recording is great! All in all 5+ stars.

Handy app to have. Couple of features hopefully will be implemented. 1. Flash control. As it is flash is not controllable making some shots in the dark hard to take. 2. No option for no crop viewfinder. Option will be good to help with picture composition. Especially for group shots. Edit : features working as clarified by developer. Satisfied with the app

When tethered to camera, the only preview is on the watch. The phone screen just shows the open app. This is inconvenient as I cannot set up to see if everything is in view since my watch is a circle and I cannot see the edges. But, now the darn update does not let me just tap the watch, it wants it on my arm and registers my arm movements and keeps stopping the video. Freaking annoying. I am a teacher and am trying to make distance learning videos. This app is a total battery hog.
