WikEM, The Global Emergency Medicine Wiki, is a point-of-care reference available on the web or via our dedicated mobile applications. Its emergency medicine knowledge base has thousands of quick problem-specific notes to help you care for patients, which is one of the reasons it has been downloaded by more than 100,000 users and is one of the top 10 most popular emergency medicine websites.

Supported by the nonprofit OpenEM Foundation, WikEM provides a way for medical practitioners to organize online content and cross-reference clinical information at http://www.wikem.org. If you are a medical practitioner, join our contributor community and help edit our content. WikEM is intended for clinicians only and not directly for patients.

WikEM serves a wide range of medical practitioners predominantly among the specialties of emergency medicine, pediatric emergency medicine, critical care, emergency medical services (EMS), and urgent care medicine, as well as primary healthcare fields such as family medicine, internal medicine, and pediatrics. Numerous sources have named WikEM as a key reference for emergency practitioners, ranging from EMTs, paramedics, and other first responders to nurses, nurse practitioners, physician assistants, and emergency physicians.

One of my essential ED companions. All relevant data in easy format. I appreciate their effort to make this great application available, and free. Update 17-10-2020 I still love this app, the only thing is the update. When I open the app it goes to update, mandatory, no option to cancel it, and it hangs and doesn't finish and doesn't open. I hope they will fix this update problem.

Love it, comprehensive and most importantly update-able. Several dead end pages and a glitch or 2 but the skeleton is there to become a force in emergency medicine. This is the future beyond rosen and tintinalli, continually updated database of em based on ebm with citations. I'd wish access immediately without having to wait several minutes while the databases update if not used in a bit.

Excellent app! Really good to have such good summaries at your finger tips. I work in the UK so some of the treatments are very American based but the main reason I love this is for the differentials list for any disease. I've been using it for about 4 years and I have happily paid the donation price (although it is free). I recommend it to everyone!

This has always been one of my favorite apps and I used to use it nearly every day. However, the newest update made the app significantly worse. The search function is very challenging now - for example, you can no longer search "UTI", you have to type "acute cystitis." If your search term isn't perfect it will not work. The layout looks worse now as well. I will be looking for an alternative until the app is fixed.

The content is top-notch. I love the bullet-point, concise style which is just what I need to review something during my shift. It does have a very annoying issue: For what seems like random topics, it just won't open the article and gives you a white screen. It's not always the same article, but the issue persists after closing and opening the app again. So I just go to the website which gives me a smoother experience.

The app was 5 stars, but recently, everytime I try to sign on, it immediately shuts down. using Samsung S8. I paid for the full features. addendum - had to uninstall and reinstall to get the app to function again. I think that I may have lost my notes.

I am a paid subscriber and up until 3 weeks ago loved this app. However it randomly stopped working and crashes everytime I try to open it. I have contacted support and posted in the forum but... crickets. I can no longer recommend the app that i used to recommend to EVERYONE.

I had uninstalled this app long back due to login issues , but having reinstalled it , the app appears smoother and more aesthetically pleasing to use , with no more login issues . for those who dont know , the app presents many Clinical pages , compiled as a succinct notes on diseases and procedures , there also a segment featuring Recommendation for antibiotics based on diseases and many more awesome features
