The app itself is hot garbage. You can edit the color and brightness WAY more than the physical remote can (which is good). And access more specific modes/color schemes. But the UI is terribad, the color wheel is broken/uncalibrated (for me at least), and the music feature doesnt work. Still, the LED strips themselves are pretty good, especially for the super low cost.

The app does its job but doesn't allow for customization of specific segments of the light strand. For example, I can't do a static red, white, and blue theme. I'm stuck using the limited options the app has to offer. The other thing I wish it had was a favorites list. You could save your 6 favorite themes/functions for different moods. My hope is that the app gets an update to include these features.

Sometimes the app is a little glitchy to connect but that's my only reason for not giving 5 stars. I had an issue with the colours being reversed and found out that I must have changed the pin sequence. Thought I'd add that tip here in case anyone is about to give a bad review for incorrect colours showing. Highly recommend these products though.

Just bought the lights off amazon, plugged them in, downloaded the app, had no issues the first time booting up the app, once I had closed it and loaded it back up, it wouldn't re-connect, there's no help section in the app either to give any hints on how to pair up the app. 1 star from me purely because It's currently unusable with no help of support sections to turn to. The lights themselves though, with the remote work pretty well.

Need help... there is one setting, called magic that for the first day or two was amazing. All the colours would fade into each other beautifully. Then suddenly it changed itself to there being no fade and just crudely switching from one colour to the next as they move along the strip, which looks horrible in comparison. I've tried reinstalling the app, switching it off and on again. But cannot get that effect back, and it was the best one by a mile, and really the only one im interested in. :(

App is fine for the price I paid for the length of led lights I bought. Their are so many preset styles of light patterns and yet it's all the same basic colour groupings. I wish I could set my preset colours and have them used for the different patterns available. If it's possible then its not obvious just looking through the app itself.

Was so awesome at first but then... The app just quit work with the lights. I did everything to try to fix the issue but now the strip light doesn't even work at all. The remote in the strip itself worked for 1 day but then decided to quit working too. The blue light that indicates the strip is on still comes on but the buttons do absolutely nothing and none of the lights work at all. This is so disappointing. They were awesome for 3 months but worthless now.

Lights went haywire, and wouldn't react properly to the app. I used the app to turn them off. Now they won't turn on manually or using the app. Even after uninstalling and reinstalling. The app thinks it's connected to the lights but they are not synced up anymore. The app no longer lets me see my 3 individual strands either to resync everything.
