The software is easily accessed through a mobile app which allows me to remotely control and monitor my security system. I have complete control over any alarms, videos, door and window locks, cameras and smart thermostats. I can easily add or subtract authorized users to my system, so if I need someone to pet sit for a weekend I can add them with their own passcode and then remove them after the weekend. The mobile app makes everything very easy.

Consistently Unreliable The app constantly crashes, disconnects from units, errors out when trying to manipulate your units. Have to re-add cameras every other week for them to work on it. Had it for over two years and have yet to be able to actually answer the doorbell. Which only picks up half the movement. Can't wait for my contract to be up so I can nix this P.O.S.

no longer shows up on Google assistant linked devices. Features are poor, we should be able to schedule alarms to automatically activate within app for example by midnight. No longer deactivates alarm when within geo zone. If I knew how limited the app and slow to take feedback, would have never signed up Edit: I emailed them as they suggested in their response and no one has responded or even acknowledge the email which pretty much speaks volumes about the company

This app is often slow to load. the service is unreliable at catching movement when it first happens. and streaming on the cameras is often lacking continuous sound. Definitely recommend doing research into other security systems before signing up for this one. the night vision on the cameras is good and the microphones are decent when the system is fully cooperating with the wifi.

When someone rings my bell, there's a huge delay. There are often delays getting into this app. If I need to speak to someone at my door, it takes too long to log in. The ADT camera picture is clear, but the app often misses recordings of information. I never see when we leave the house or rarely have recordings of people that drive into my driveway even though that area is visible. Catching all details on videos is hit or miss. I do like the search feature that goes way back in time.

The cameras and sensors work just fine. My issues are in managing the "Recording Rules", when the cameras actually detect motion and begin recording (my doors can open and close and the cameras NEVER show any images. Only that the doors had been opened/closed.). Otherwise, the "Service Monitoring" is excellent. I am guessing/thinking that's all that matters. Again, the slowness of the cameras to detect motion and to begin recording is a HUGE problem for me.

This app for which I pay a monthly fee to access used to work perfectly. Recent updates ruined zwave device status updates and device management. One of my devices was lost. Remove a device feature (Leviton dimmer) didn't remove it from the app. Light status is now often incorrect when triggering Leviton zwave devices manually. Refresh does nothing. Takes 5 to 10 minutes for status update. Do your jobs and figure out what you did to break the app. Don't ask me to do your work.

App has been working mostly okay except that it seems to get mixed up sometimes whether the door is locked or unlocked. For instance, right now on my front door is open but the app registers it as locked. This could be problematic!
