try to update my system with a wireless front door camera and wireless back door camera.. when I called to see what's the price was.. it was very pricey per unit.. when you can buy the same thing on Amazon... for under $50.. plus the extra money it cost to monitor those two units.. maybe I'm a little old-fashioned in my thinking but when you have a customer I thought you were supposed to keep him happy to keep their business .. I guess times are changing.

The biggest waste of money ever. The app is basic, but the service and equipment are horrible. I've had 2 doorbells die within a year, which makes absolutely no sense. I'll be contacting their loyalty dept to find out just how much it is to break this contract. I'd rather set my own cameras up at this point.

It often has issues and fails to connect to internet. Brinks Home Security is probably the worst company that simply tries to take advantage of you woth faulty equipment. I am locked in a 5 year contract, am almost 3 years in, and haven't had a working doorbell camera for over a year. I have followed all steps to repair it, but the app will not connect to the camera. My only other option is to pay a call fee of $75 for someone to replace the part and also pay for the new equipment.

Ever since the latest update, the app insists there are connectivity issues with my doorbell camera. The doorbell camera seems to work fine, even though the app is constantly showing it's not connected. Also, in order to check the battery level for my doorbell camera, I now have to go through twice as many steps.

I want to disable it!! It is not user friendly at all!! I keep getting constant notifications and even after turn them all off, Im still getting the text notifications!!! So irritating!! Update: Quarantine has me on edge. Called in and spoke with Michelle. She solved my problems in less than 10 mins!!! AWESOME customer service! Thanks Michelle and Brinks!!

What is the difference between Brinks Home Security vs. Total Connect 2.0 ??? When I call technical support at Brinks, they don't even acknowledge a mobile app called Brinks Home Security. I used to be able to get into my app, but now I'm locked out and support can't help. They tell me to use a browser to manage my account, and Total Connect web and mobile app to manage my alarm system. Dealing with Brinks is frustrating at best on most everything I've had to deal with. Their apps don't sync and usernames nor passwords don't either.

I got the system as a replacement for the now defunct AT&T security system. It drops often the connection to the cameras. It is pain to connect it again, because you have to manually remove the cam, and then pray that the connection process works. If not try again, and again. If you can avoid. I have 2 more years left. But will look for better options.

My wife and I both use the app on each of our phones. When arming/disarming the app does not consistently update status. if I arm from keypad it never shows on the app. Separately, only certain events show in the events window. I've updated settings both in app and on website but it does not correct the issue. While I am happy with my security system, this app has a long way to go. I find it barely functional. Emailed customer svc. App now working less and no contact from company.
