This app sucks, don't buy these bulbs. On the rare occasion that app would connect to the bulb it was almost always unable to control it entirely. There were maybe a handful of times I was actually able to control the bulb outside of manually turning it off at the wall. Would have to clear all app data to make progress at all.

Bought RGB bulbs for the circadian/ sunrise-sunset feature. You can only have white light for this option. No reason whatsoever to lack the ability to use this feature with RGB. Forget a calming sunset. Lost voice control when Google started using Gemini. The app has since lost most functionality, half the options won't select, tried setting up a circadian rhythm and the light blinks half way through changing the settings and resets them and won't save changes.

Worst app. Continues to be the worst. not smart at all regularly fails to perform programmed tasks . But logs that it was successful And not to mention the physical products you buy for the app die quickly.

Some things are great: - the idea is superb, to control lightbulbs with an app - great: you can add a device to the home screen - good: you can set up a "scene", but this is where it falls down: Once i've set the lights how i like, i need a function to "save this scene". The way the app is now, "making a scene" doesn't work. You can only set it to "colour mode", you can't choose colour, brightness, or contrast etc. Defeats the purpose completely. (i have a 2 bulb light fitting so it's extra)

The app and lights were fine for months, but the app now contains an ad for other lighting products that pops up every time I open it. The ad is on a countdown timer, preventing access to the lighting controls until it is finished. Invasive, annoying and really negates the convenience of having a wifi product...because it's now faster to get up and turn on the switch at the wall.

These globes are super amazing for the first couple of months or so- until the novelty wears off and they disconnect from the WiFi... They just flash constantly and then you have to go through the process of connecting to the WiFi again!! This has happened about 3 times the past couple of months for me and I've had to use lamps until I have time to fix it!🤦♀️ It is cool having the ability to change colours and sequences! But not sure if it's worth it, reconnecting all of the time.

Works most of the time, but that's not really good enough is it. I bought a power socket so that I could switch the power to our garage door off overnight (we've had a lot of burglaries where garage doors have been activated by thieves using universal remotes). Went through setup - not rocket science but not exactly straightforward - and had a play with the app to switch the power socket on and off. Initially quite successful but then noticed that sometimes the socket would be on and the app was telling me it was off (and vice versa). So now once I've turned the socket off using the app I have to go and physically check that the socket is actually off, thus rendering the use of the wifi remote control of the socket utterly pointless! I might as well just switch it off manually every night. As another reviewer said this also badly needs some kind of widget so you can put the switches on the home page of your phone to enable you to turn it on and off without searching for the app, turning it on, finding the correct device and then switching it which is very annoying. Nice idea, doesn't seem to work that well.
