EDIFICE Connected cannot be used on Android feature phones with arrow keys.

My first experience was good, app synced with a watch . But seems Edifice APP was updated and after travel in another time zone APP start to behave not as I expected. The smartphone followed a time zone correctly, but Edifice APP decided that home zone is visited country. So sync does not change time to local one. But APP offered to install Casio Watch APP and create an an account. I think it is pure marketing and no care for customer.

For 50 years I have wished for a watch that keeps perfect time. 50 years ago the most accurate watch was a Rolex. By the time I could afford a Rolex, accurate quartz watches were available. Now I've got my solar Edifice I don't have to adjust my watch anymore. Not even for daylight saving time or if I'm travelling. Or replace batteries. I love watching the minute hand move to the 12:00 position exactly when the 6th time 'bip' is played on the radio. It's also a very good-looking watch.

Intuitive and well designed, even though the animations are a little over the line. And this is my main issue with this app, I turned off the animations and transitions effects on my device, I've to turn on the animations on my phone to even use this app! I can live without it: setup day, time and alarms on my clock, I don't need this anymore.

This Edifice app works fine for me on a 1000 model slimline Edifice watch with Note 9. To connect I open the app and hold the connect button on the watch down until the second hand goes round to 'R' twice, then let the button go. It will then connect to bluetooth when pointing at the bluetooth icon on your watch. The app will connect and you can see your battery level and adjust other stuff. Press the button for 2 seconds to go to 'R' once and only the time will be adjusted via the app.

At first, all functions seemed to work as advertised. Alarms could be set, settings changed, etc. The only complaint I had in the beginning was the constant notification "Connecting...", that was showing. Annoying but not very. At some point however, the app started crashing every time I try to access any of the alarms. It connects fine, I can change the time and so on, alarms show up on my phone, but the app crashes when I try to press one of them to edit. OnePlus 8, Android 11.

I read several negative reviews, which almost caused me to pass on the watch. I'm glad that I didn't. I have had no problems with the app and simply love the watch/app combination. I travel a fair amount and own a Satellite Wave watch that takes forever to reset in a new time zone. No such problems with this watch/app combination. Easy to use. Functions as it should.

Excellent so far, I've been using it for over a month. My calendar events sync and the stability of the connection and the app is reliable. Two only comments is that the app can be slow when sending changes to the watch, which in my mind should be really quick. Second, the app can only sync the main accounts for the phone, but not other calendars that are part of other apps such as outlook or exchange. I had to get another desktop app to send my work calendar events to my Google calendar

Initially app stopped working. Tech support got it going. From that point it works good. There is NO way to use this app with location turned off. It seems Casio wants to track your location. I don't want to share location. Users should have a way to opt out. Also, change skins or colors for easier viewing of the app in different surroundings ie: indoor/outdoor. Blue on black is among the worst choices as they contrast poorly.
