When resetting password from app, the app crashes. This is how far it went for the first time. 3 stars because I hope once you get past login the experience will be better. Edit: after a few years of using it I regret getting Salus. The app never logs me in when I open it, I have to restart a couple of times. Ever since I got it there was no interface improvement whatsoever. I do not recommend it.

Awful. Had this system for a few years now, the app has only ever been basic and there were issues with having to do a full reconnection process if there was ever a loss of power. This isnt a huge issue, unless like me, you're disabled and can't physically get to the receiver, therefore the whole point in going for a wireless thermostat. Next issue. We have been replacing the batteries in the thermostat weekly, if not more! You don't get a warning and wonder why the house is cold in the morning.

Not a bad app but the functions are quite basic. Sometimes the app doesn't open first time and might take a few goes. I would like to see details of how long the hot water boost has to run. Perhaps more than 3 different time bands for setting heating. Even something like a heating boost would be an option to consider. Not able to control anything else from the app.

Unless someone can tell me any different ,my issues with the Salus app/thermostat is it's lack of support with other home automation products . I often forget to switch off my heating when I'm away for the weekend or change my plans , some sort of geo location switching would be good or proactive notification when heating has come on, gone off etc. My work pattern is also quite irregular and having a two weekly cycle or a monthly calendar for setting the heating would be beneficial.

USE THE NEW VERSION! ive been struggling with this totally terrible app for months. It takes 5 or 6 attempts to get it to log in with just a spinning thing on the screen. It would have been lovely for the manufacturer to let users know there is a silky smooth new version available. Search for (iT500 plus)

The app for Android is really crappy - there are a lot of settings that are missing comparing with the iOS app like temperature calibration and others. Also it moves really slow and I was expecting to be able to use the thermostat by itself without the app, but other then setting a current temperature it does nothing. Also after 2 months of using the thermostat starting going nuts like showing temperature of 27 degrees Celsius and in the house were like 20-21.

It is so slow I can't even save anything because it's constantly loading. We have the fastest broadband on the market so it's definitely an app issue. App is very dated too and wish they would give a "boost" function.

This app suddenly stopped working saying Network not available, try again so I Googled the problem and saw there is another app called it500 plus. This works perfectly although it looks completely differently. Try it. You might be pleasantly surprised.
