2024-08-08 : Couldn't find a way to bug report so I'll do it here. I can't open my Google drive folders nor sync them : "This app is blocked This app tried to access sensitive info in your Google Account. To keep your account safe, Google blocked this access." Hoping it'll get fixed, I paid premium for this exact feature ✌️ 2024-09-08 : Still having the same exact issue today, looking for a fix on the way Google Drive is handled. 😭 2024-09-17: New users can't use drive as stated by the app.

The best Android reading app (by far)? They just added DJVU support in 5.0, which was the one feature that forced me back to FBReader for some books. I donated $15 to thank you for the continual improvement you've kept making. The app is already almost perfect for me as it is, but if I'd make a new feature suggestion it would be: an option to display the EPUB3 footnotes as footnotes, i.e at the bottom of the page, instead of through popups, would be awesome. There aren't many such EPUB files with footnotes in the wild, but there may be in the not-too-far future.

Having just installed Kindle again, and rapidly uninstalled, I appreciate just how good Moon Reader is. It would benefit from a bit of tidying up in the Settings department but autoscroll, text to speech, Calibre integration and more all make it invaluable. I have a night mode problem that still happens occasionally, but support from the developers has been excellent so I have restored my five-star rating.

Latest updates are pretty much fantastic across the board. Being able to store all my stuff in Google Drive and move seamlessly between devices is something I've been hunting for a long time. I have to ding it a star for one feature that I use a lot, and falls short - TTS. Yes, MRP supports TTS, but only the base implementation in Android. That means you get a very robotic, not very interesting voice to listen to, as opposed to the more natural sounding voice supported in Google Play Books.

Loved this app for years! One of the recent updates removed a function that I love in this app. The book sync is not working at all. I sync using Dropbox, and before the update, when I read a file on one device and opened the recent list the file synced to the new device and included the new file in the list without any action needed from me. Now, nothing syncs to the Recent list. The reading position does still sync. When will the Recent list sync be fixed??

Purchased the pro version years ago. My entire ebook collection and backup is in Google Drive. Starting a few months ago, the pro version no longer works with Google Drive. I have seen multiple people leave reviews about this problem, and support replies they will "fix it in a future version by changing the scope." I have paid for this functionality that your app is supposed to support. When are you going to release a version that fixes this bug? I can no longer use this app that I paid for.

This ebook reader promises everything I am looking for: Customizable along many features, syncable across devices, notes and highlights exportable. Most of these functions are realized, but for one disturbing demerit: Notes and highlights disappear on a random basis. This makes the app very unreliable and untrustworthy despite the extension capabilities it boasts. If this bug can be fixed, it holds the potential for being a superior ebook reader.

I used the free version and it worked very well, unlike some other readers (names I won't mention). So I bought the pro version and, after a little bit of frustration, transferred all my working files to the new (to me) app. I'll be trying out all the additional features, PDF editing, etc. Might bump the 4 stars up to 5...
