Military-related Moroccan phrases for language learners. With Moroccan text and audio.

Using this app, you can select an English phrase and view its translation and how to pronounce it in Moroccan.

This app was originally developed as an entry to the 2010 CIO/G6 "Apps for the Army" competition, and it is based on the modules publicly available online from the U.S. Defense Language Institute. While this app's subject matter relates mainly to military topics, the app is broadly useful with content relating to a range of topics.

• Contains over 600 phrases with native speaker audio recordings
• Dictionary lookup: Type or say what you want to search
• Pronunciation help: See the transliterated/Romanized text
• Good for language learning, or as a reference

This app is part of a series of phrasebook apps published for many different languages and dialects. Phrasebooks in the series are available as "basic" and "medical" variants.

• Text may be exported as Anki flash cards
• Works offline: No network connection is required
• Search bar for quick vocabulary lookup
• No login or registration needed
• Dark background color minimizes eye strain

Many of the languages covered by this series of phrasebook apps are under-resourced, with translation apps and dictionaries not widely available from other sources.

I visited Morocco last month and downloaded this app for when my phone was offline, but while there, the app wouldn't work without internet - it was very frustrating. Also, it would be quicker if I didn't have to tap each word to get to the screen where I can see and hear the pronunciation. Other than that, the words seemed accurate, and I liked having both a written and audio pronunciation guide. I only rated this a 3 because it wouldn't work offline when the description plainly said it would.

Honestly it's a great app for learning Arabic but some of the words are in Modern Standard Arabic not in Moroccan Arabic. As both are a bit different languages that's why I have to say some informations are wrong here

Very basic for beginners. Good pronunciation. Ads are extremely annoying. Had to switch off.

Updated Oct. 7, 2018 and can no longer put the app on the SD card. Don't want to fill up space on device storage so I am uninstalling it. Otherwise a good app.

Great for learning many basics like numbers. Also includes military phrases that are hilarious to randomly say to my husband.
