I have 2 cats, and I travel from time to time. My whiskers' cat box has made a huge difference. My only complaint is that lately it malfunctions pretty regularly & I have to manually press the reset button. It's becoming frustrating & leaves me stressed because I can't depend on it. I've had it less than 2 years, so it bothers me that it's already malfunctioning. These aren't cheap. it's well worth the money when/if it works correctly

Works great! No issues with the app connecting to the robot. I use the controls in the app to run a cycle, reset, view the drawer status, check cat usage and weights. The notifications work flawlessly for me as well. I don't know how my settings are any different but I don't have the ads that others mentioned. I have 2 cats, 1 started using the robot immediately and has loved it since. The other is shy and got freaked by the cycling, she hasn't warmed up to it yet. I love litter robot 4!

The unit is constantly disconnecting from the app. The wifi signal is very strong in that area. No issues with any other devices. Very disappointing that it only logs one week of your cats weight. Not very useful. I will be sending this back to get one of their competitors products that does a better job with the data.

took a few tries to get connected, but all seems to be working as expected. Now the kitties just need to love it. Update: 2nd time The system is again in onboarding mode, nothing works, deleted kitties profile pictures and no good answer why and whisker rep is unable to fix. Weight scale and litter scale is dysfunctional. Only solution provided to uninstall app which one will lose everything. Who has time to babysit such an expensive item. It is expected to work like a clock each and everytime.

For the last 2 weeks we have not been getting any notifications from the app at all. This is on multiple phones and We have reinstalled the app, cleared cache, since android 15 It doesn't tell us when it's full. It doesn't tell us when it over torques nothing. It seems every couple times they update the app they break something or move something that's used a lot into a submenu hidden away. They keep doing stuff like this. Will update rating, 1 star for attention

App is easy to use. Wish there was more options for notifications for the litter being full. It sends tons and tons of notifications of it being close to full, even when it isn't, we'll before it is. When it is actually full, and therefore won't cycle again, you want yo ignore it because you already had a weeks worth of notifications each time the pet used the litter box. I also wish it stored long term weight of the cat(s) for tracking. it only keeps about a weeks worth which is less helpful

The app stopped sending me notifications a few months ago. Nobody can tell me why. The same account sends notifications to my husband's iphone. My (android) phone is new and updated, and all notifications are enabled in the app. The app doesn't even show in my list of apps in my general phone settings, so I believe there is a compatibility issue with a recent app update. At any rate, the app is useless if it doesn't tell you when the cat is using the litter box.

App: I find this app really convenient. I love all the information it gives me, but I used to be able to reset my spaceship from the app, and I can't anymore. The app is basically useless. Which sucks, as the litterbox is in a hard to get to place in my house. Robot itself: The 3 worked a lot better for us than the 4 is working. Almost every time my cats use it, I get a notification that the cycle has been interrupted. I do, however, like that the 4 takes longer to empty.
