App named " Local Send" lets you send any file type to any device (including TV's), is open source, and works on any android version. This app was awesome and helpful for a long time, but on current android versions, all it's capable of transmitting is pictures. Im pretty sure the majority of people were using it to send apk's to their android tv devices, which it can't do anymore. I hate to leave negative reviews, but I hope the dev will see this and do something about it.

Flawless! It has a bare minimum, stripped down, user interface that's easy to understand as well as clear labeling. First, I Installed it on my Chromecast dongle & phone. Second, Your prompted when opened to give permission for file access. Third, there are 2 big buttons, SEND & RECEIVE I chose a 1 gb .mp4 on my phone & chose SEND. Fourth, I clicked RECEIVE on my tv & chose the file. ...24 seconds later... BOOM! Transferred Removing the small minimalistic border ads is only $4.50 CAD.

Have been using this app for many years... Its wonderful... Easy to use... Not too many ads.. Easy to navigate... Started with using for tv... Than i found not only does it tranfer from mobile to tv.. But also to other mobiles.... Amd unlike other sharing apps doesn't require many permissions... It can transfer via simply a wifi connection or a hotspot... Transfer speed is also really good... Keep it up!! Note:it can send files thru file manager.. And u can send apks aswell thru google files

LOVE IT! I use it to send my art references to my tv and it works like a charm! never had any issues and been using for many months! It sends within 1-2 seconds and u can find ur file any time you want! the only down part is that u can only send one picture or file or whatever it is that you want to send at a time, so if you want multiple files, u have to send once and go back and repeat but I have no issues since sending once takes only a matter of 5-10 seconds max! This app was a true gold!

Super easy to use and very very fast. It does exactly what it says it does. My only criticism is that while it allows to send multiple files at once, it does not allow sending folders, so you have to use a file manager app on the tv to organize stuff into folders after sending the files over. I'm hoping that I'm a future version, support for sending folders will be added

it's one of the best file sharing apps out there, especially for smart TV's. This app makes it soooo easy to transfer files across my devices. I have multiple smart TV's and also a Android music system in my car. I can easily download apks from my phone, transfer them to the devices and side load said apks. I would highly recommend this app to everyone in the world with a phone and a smart tv or car stereo.

I needed to do some quick small file transfers from PC to TV, but didn't manage to, so instead I tried Phone to TV, and that worked instantly. Any sort of transfer, both SEND and RECEIVE did not work on my PC, the devices would get detected but I would just get a 'Connecting...' message that ends up into 'Connection timed out' Information on website did not have any info on detecting devices and connection not working.

This app is amazing...I was looking for something to transfer files to my android box wirelessly instead of swapping a usb stick every now and then and it worked flawlessly. Today I thought of transferring files from my note 9 to pc using the app. I managed to transfer a 10.5gb folder from my phone in just 5 minutes !!! Absolutely incredible while with the cable it takes 2 hours !!! Well done to the developer 👍
