Permissions:
READ_PHONE_STATE - to detect incoming phone call and snooze alarm.
RECEIVE_BOOT_COMPLETED - to set up alarms after phone start.
ACCESS_NETWORK_STATE, INTERNET - ads, checking for new app version, Google Analytics, Firebase Analytics, Google Drive.
WRITE_EXTERNAL_STORAGE/READ_EXTERNAL_STORAGE - backup/restore settings, play ringtones located on external memory.
WAKE_LOCK - to wake device and show alert window on time.
DISABLE_KEYGUARD - disable keyguard (lock screen) when alarm starts.

Edit. Used for years without issue but latest update problematic - alarm randomly goes straight to snooze so I often get my alarm 5 minutes late. Have uninstalled and reinstalled but no better. Edit. Working fine now

Simply amazing! I needed an alarm that would repeat a schedule every other week and a different one on the opposite week. I've wanted this since my first Android. I've asked several developers and none could do it. Checked on a whim and found this. Works flawlessly and developer is awesome to work with. They have nailed it with this! This is my end-all alarm app!!! I cannot praise this enough!

5/21/23 - They seem to consistently desire to make this app worse and worse, it's a pain to use now as it's no longer quick or easy to set alarms or alter their time. Old review - You can customize these alarms to an amazing degree, and they are quick to set and easy to clear. Has options for math problems (common) or English citation correction (awesome!).

This alarm has an exceptional amount of flexibility and is the best for someone who has a consistent albeit non weekly rotation. I have tried a tremendous amount of these apps but none have been able to accommodate my schedule as this one can. It is however not able to change a schedule 1 Time and revert back. You have to "Skip" an alarm and set up a "Quick alarm" for the 1 change each time. It does however have a learning curve but once mastered is without peer. Excellent!

Edit #2: the issue appear to be fixed. App gets 1 star for when an alarm gets stuck going off and won't turn off (not even when going into the app and clicking the little alarm icon beside the scheduled alarm.) Edit: in regards to the response, I'll up the rating when the issue is fixed. When it happens there is no way to turn the alarm off. The usual screen disappears and won't turn off with the icon within the app. It's very irritating and can happen at inopportune times.

Haven't used enough yet to get a thorough impression, but it has plenty of options and has so far been reliable. Couple negatives are you can't copy an alarm then change the type (e.g. cyclic), so if you want one with the same settings but a different type you have to make it from scratch, and skipping an alarm is a bit more of a pain than it should be, since you have to select the day instead of just being able to skip the upcoming one. 3.5 stars rounded up for actually explaining permissions.

26-09-2019 I couldn't be happier with this app! My work shifts are the same each fortnight, but different on both weeks of that fortnight. The cyclic alarm allows for the different shifts & repeats the fortnight flawlessly, every time. So happy I no longer have to keep setting alarms each week! 12-08-2019 Nokia 9: This is the only "paid" alarm app I found that will work on Android Pie with "Do not Disturb" enabled. I still had to search to find all the appropriate settings but it was worth it🙂

Fantastic alarm! Update Moto G4. Works well and the backup to Google Drive is a great way to ensure you don't lose alarms regardless of device used. Update: Apr 8 2017/2018. The developers really have made a great product and are quick to fix any hiccups. Good stuff...still my fav alarm! The support from the developers is incredible! Thanks! :) UPDATE: 2020 - Still my fav alarm app. Merci!
