Get the other Librivox app. Banner ads I can handle but this has too many video ads. And Ads are too long and can't be skipped. Only very basic functioning without purchase. Change speed =$. Go back 10 sec=$. Change book=watch commercials or $. Sleep timer is free. Where you left off in recent listens is free. Endless ads for downloadable games is free.

A Google user

at first I was loving it. But there are a few bugs that are very problematic. Everything was fine when I started playing an audiable but once I pause it, it won't let me resume. I've even tried restarting the app and restarting my phone, yet nothing works. So, if you want to use this app you better hope you finish the book in one sitting.

pretty good app so far. my reason for only giving 4 stars is because I came across one narrator who sounded like he either couldn't read or was reading in slow motion. and there's no option for a different voices or to actually be able to read a chapter on your own, without paying for the pro version of course. My suggestion, hire people that know how to read or at least read at a normal speed.

Still exploring, but please make a quick settings for sleep, 10min/15/30 etc. A dark theme would be nice. Full screen ads are a bit annoying, I know you have to be profitable somehow, but smaller ads without sound would be much appreciated. Also the ads are supporting your competitor :/ A rating system for narrator and book would be great, and streamlined categories. A minimized player is needed.

The app itself is one of the best to listen to the audio book and see it in text. I am a Premium user and I have a problem with the application. In the free version the application shows us the transcription, that is, you can track the audio through the orange highlighting in each text, but since I started paying monthly that option has disappeared and that is not really fair, I don't understand why. I think it's a bug, please fix it.

Useless interface. Search doesn't work, UI disappears from the screen, bad & misleading English usage in the UI. Ads *overwhelm* the UI. The books are LibriVox's usual good stuff, but the app adds nothing to the content. It does load one chapter after the other, but requires the user to be online *and* in the player before it loads the next. It provides no controls for speed or short skips < or >. Disappointing AH. GREAT customer responsiveness tho.

Being a blind individual, any service that allows me to enjoy books and classic literature is a blessing; this application from audioVox is exceptionally credible, in its selections. However, to be totally honest; I gave it 4 stars, because the controls Are a bit unwieldy with accessibility features on my phone. Other than that, I would give it 5 stars; because of its quality. The controls not working well, with accessibility features; I have to give it 4, that's just to be fair and honest.

Great app with thousands of audiobooks but the app is sometimes a bit sketchy, doesn't open things right away etc, and the search results have no order at all, a 'sort' option would be useful. Sometimes the most accurate result doesn't appear at the top of the results but much lower down. Aside from these quibbles this is a fantastic app and I use it daily.
